Grammy Award-winning producer, DJ, and House music pioneer David Morales collaborates with Italian-born, New York City-based vocalist Georgia Cee on new Afro House release ‘SABALALA’, blending driving percussion and deep rhythmic energy rooted in the global underground electronic music scene.
‘SABALALA’ is built around Georgia Cee’s distinctive vocals and captures the spirit of contemporary Afro House. The release brings together David Morales’ seminal production style with Georgia Cee’s distinctive approach to songwriting, creating a track designed equally for late-night dancefloors and home listening experiences.
The release features four versions of the track, each exploring a different side of its rhythmic and atmospheric identity. The ‘DIRIDIM Mix’ leans into deep percussive grooves and immersive Afro House textures, while the ‘Demo Mix’ presents a more stripped-back and raw interpretation of the record. The ‘Reprise Mix’ offers an emotive and melodic approach, and closes out the release with the ‘Chant Mix’, which places further emphasis on hypnotic vocal elements and tribal inspired rhythms.
