HEISENBERG opens 2026 with the release of ‘Dropout’ from label founder Saktu

HEISENBERG presents ‘Dropout’, the latest single from label head Saktu. Setting the musical direction for the year ahead, ‘Dropout’ is built around a hypnotic groove and delicate, broken signal-like textures. Minimal House with soul, stripped-back yet detailed, the track unfolds gradually, drawing the listener in through rhythm and atmosphere.

Saktu, a DJ, producer, and label owner, has been a driving force in the minimal House scene for over 25 years. Widely recognised for his pioneering contributions, he has performed at the most prestigious clubs worldwide and boasts an impressive catalogue of vinyl and digital releases on renowned global labels.

After being invited to create official vinyl podcasts for both Decks.de and XLR8R magazine, he quickly earned a reputation as "The One To Watch" in the industry. In 2014, he founded HEISENBERG, one of the most influential minimal House labels, where he has released more than 100 digital and vinyl releases, curated cutting-edge events and performed in iconic venues across Berlin, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Riga, Barcelona, Zurich, and Thailand. His music continues to receive support from key tastemakers, including Ricardo Villalobos, Sammy Dee, Thomas Melchior, Arapu, Raresh, Apollonia, Sonja Moonear, Marco Carola, Tobi Neumann, and Dorian Paic.

In 2016, he unveiled his solo alias Saktu, adding a new dimension to his artistic journey. Around this time, he co-founded OGNI with Dave Vega and Tobi Neumann, a project that led to highly acclaimed EPs released on Mobilee Records, Oblack, and their own Ogni Tapes imprint. Together, they hosted unforgettable events at Berlin’s legendary Club der Visionäre and Hoppetosse.

Now based in Barcelona, Spain, since 2025, Saktu continues to evolve, bringing his distinctive sound and forward-thinking energy to new audiences across the globe. With a deep passion for music and innovation, Saktu’s journey is far from over, and the future promises even more exciting milestones in his illustrious career.

‘Dropout’ from Saktu will be released on 26th February 2026 and continues to position HEISENBERG as one of underground music’s most influential minimal House and Techno imprints, reinforcing the label’s reputation for carefully curated releases and forward-thinking artistry.
