Into The Wild Festival Celebrates 11th Year Of Music, Creativity & Community

Into The Wild Festival wrapped up its 11th edition at Chiddinglye Estate, Sussex, from August 22nd–25th. With amazing weather and a vibrant atmosphere, many described this summer’s event as the best yet, filled with joy, connection, and celebration. Renowned for its unique blend of community, creativity, and connection with nature, the family-friendly gathering once again proved why it remains a standout on the UK festival calendar.

This year’s programme featured more than 150 activities and over 200 workshops. From traditional crafts, foraging, and medicinal plant walks to fire-making, flint knapping with Will Lord, yoga, wild spas, and ceramic sessions, festival-goers immersed themselves in hands-on experiences designed to inspire reconnection with both nature and self.

Music thrived across multiple stages, with a mix of global artists and electronic acts delighting crowds day and night. Highlights included Daraa Tribe’s nomadic North African rhythms, Ustad Noor Bakhsh from Rajasthan, Mongolian Odyssey’s throat singing, UK rapper Viktus, Welsh folk artist Bethan Lloyd, and the Magic Tree collective. The newly expanded electronic stage pulsed late into the night with sets from Woody Cook, SuperCLAUD, Ellie Talebian, DJ Estavia, Heiko, Miss Lightbeam, Eloise Minton, DJ Kristiaan, Nik Valentine, Ross Harper, Temple Hedz, and many more.

Festival Founder Huw Williams comments:

“This year’s Into the Wild was one of our best ever, such an amazing array of talent and creativity with incredible music, brilliant crafts, sunshine and friendship, children running free, stories around the campfire under the summer stars, it really was a joy to behold. It’s inspired us to just keep on making it more exciting every year.”

In keeping with its long-standing ethos, Into The Wild continued to champion environmental and social responsibility. Leading organisations and charities, including the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, WWF, Greenpeace, The Twelve Step Fellowship, and the Sussex Wildlife Trust, joined the festival, hosting talks and activities that strengthened its mission of conservation, activism, and ecological awareness.

Founded in 2014, Into The Wild has grown into much more than an annual gathering. Through its CIC Wilderlands initiative, the festival actively supports rewilding, habitat creation, and wildlife protection projects. Over the years, it has become a space where friendships flourish, collaborations emerge, marriages are celebrated, and even new life has been welcomed, a true testament to the thriving community it nurtures.

Into The Wild Festival 2025 cemented its reputation as a beacon of creativity, inclusivity, and ecological awareness. Super Early Bird tickets for 2026 have sold out in record time, and a limited number of Early Bird tickets are now available for the festival’s 12th edition, taking place 28th–31st August 2026 at Chiddinglye Estate, Sussex.
