Janika Tenn drops 90s-Inspired House Track ‘Going Down’ on Tenn Tonik

Janika Tenn continues to build her reputation as a forward-thinking House artist with the release of her latest track ‘Going Down’ on her own label, Tenn Tonik. Inspired by her love for 90s club culture, the track combines driving basslines, jacking drums, strings, and playful vocal touches to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and modern. With influences spanning Italian and UK House styles, ‘Going Down’ showcases Janika’s signature blend of groove and energy.

Incorporating funky and Disco elements into her productions, ‘Going Down’ features rolling bass, techy beats, and a classic sample that gives the track a distinct personality. A great club track through and through, it captures that “nothing else matters right now” feeling on the dancefloor.

Tenn Tonik embodies a feel-good, House-driven ethos, emphasising groove, personality, and vocal-led tracks. From jacking cuts to disco-infused grooves, the label focuses on timeless energy rather than fleeting trends. Artist-led and highly curated, Tenn Tonik is a home for music that represents Janika Tenn’s identity without compromise, offering both DJs and listeners tracks that are built for the dancefloor and designed to move people.

Janika Tenn has already made waves with releases on Defected’s D4Dance, winning an Armada remix competition for Maxim Lany and receiving support on Beatport, Spotify, and Apple Music editorial playlists. She has shared the stage with legends such as Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, and David Penn, and performed at major events including ADE, Ministry of Sound, XOYO, and Miami Music Week. Most recently, she launched Tenn Tonik with ‘Laid Back’ alongside Todd Terry, followed by solo releases that set the tone for the label’s sound.

This summer, Janika Tenn held a residency in Ibiza at Eden for Todd Terry’s Freeze Project, and will continue touring internationally with dates across Asia. She is also beginning new residencies in Tallinn and London, further cementing her presence on the global House circuit.

‘Going Down’ will be released on October 3rd, 2025, via Tenn Tonik, combining 90s influences with Janika Tenn’s distinctive approach to production.
